Letter Workbook is an interactive educational app from Kizzu that teaches children how to write the alphabet from A-Z.

Through an interactive letter guide, children will learn how to format letters based on the UK Curriculum, while having fun along the way.

Children are provided with both uppercase and lowercase letters to learn from A to Z. Each letter starts with interactive dots that teach the finger how to trace the lines that build up the full letter (in the correct direction).

The app then instructs children through a friendly voiceover, to trace the letter with a line guide from the second to the sixth letter. Lastly, a clear audio instruction is given to ask the child to try to trace the letter without the guide. This will help each child to develop the confidence and fine motor skills needed, to write letters independently, from A to Z.

While completing the letters the child will receive positive encouragement and feedback, to help them along the way.

Letter Workbook can be used at home or in school as an additional practise workbook for children learning letters. It can also be used as an introduction for children of any age who want to learn how to write letters while having fun along the way!

Engaging
I teach kindergarten and downloaded the full version to have access to the entire alphabet. I love that the app integrates first sound fluency and vocabulary within a handwriting app. I also appreciate the sensitivity of the app in determining if the student is using the proper stokes to write the letters. HOWEVER, I am disappointed with the formation of lowercase letters q and y. They they are not presented in the font traditionally taught in primary classrooms. Lowercase q should have a loop at the bottom of its tail, and lowercase y should not have loops at all. I am writing this review in hopes the app creators correct this. I would love to continue to use this app in my classroom. Thank you!
Love this app
I love this app. Great for toddlers and helped my 1st grader slow down to write the letters correctly. I love the popping bubbles and so do the kids! Now you need to make a sight words app and have the words to trace and write.
Letter A crosses too low
I like this app A LOT for my kindergartner. Only 2 gripes- that the letter A middle line crosses too low and not on the dotted line like you learn in school. Almost didnt do a full purchase for fear that other letters would have little things off like that. But its only the A. Other gripe is that I cant print off a completed workbook once my kindergartners is done. We homeschool and I would like to print out & save her workbook. Thanks!
